Man killed, mother injured in Pattani
A man was shot to death and his mother injured in an attack by insurgents in Panare district of Pattani province on Sunday morning, police said.
Pol Col Manit Yimsai, the Panare district police chief, said Nakhon Chanthip, 23, and his mother Mrs Krue were riding on a motorcycle on Highway 4061 in tambon Khon when they were followed by two men on another motorcycle.
