Thai border officials on Tuesday detained a 28-year-old Vietnamese woman who said she was attempting to flee home after being tricked into prostitution in Malaysia by her boyfriend.

The distraught woman was caught attempting to cross the border into Cambodia illegally at Rong Kluea Market in Sa Kaeo’s Aranyaprathet district.
