Drunk Foreign Tourist Forcibly Removed from Train After Causing Disturbance

BANGKOK – A foreign tourist was removed from a train in Thailand following a late-night disturbance in which he insulted passengers, praised Cambodia, and became physically aggressive. The man, traveling with his Thai wife, reportedly smashed a train window and demanded alcohol during the altercation.

The incident began when an argument between the tourist and his wife escalated onboard. Witnesses said he made obscene gestures and loudly criticized Thailand and its people. Railway staff intervened but faced verbal abuse and physical resistance, including an attack on at least one passenger.

Other travelers helped restrain the man, as seen in a video shared on Facebook. Despite being ordered to leave at the next station, he continued insulting Thais via a livestream, with his wife reportedly joining in the verbal assaults.

At the station, the confrontation intensified, and the man caused further damage before being removed by authorities. The video has since circulated widely online, drawing strong criticism of his behavior.
