The fire consumed a significant portion of the 10-rai factory complex, affecting approximately two rai of the site. Under the direction of Rayong Governor Traiphop Wongtrairat, the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office mobilized a large-scale response, deploying eight fire engines and a backhoe to combat the intense flames.
Authorities believe the fire originated in an area of the factory storing highly flammable materials such as paper and plastic. Firefighting teams utilized drone technology to assess the spread and intensity of the blaze, allowing for a more strategic and efficient operation.
As thick, potentially toxic smoke billowed from the site, the Public Health Department issued urgent advisories to nearby residents, instructing them to remain indoors, keep windows closed, and wear face masks if going outside was necessary. As a precaution, residents in the immediate vicinity were evacuated from their homes.

Firefighters remain on high alert at the scene to prevent any resurgence of the fire. Environmental impact assessments are ongoing.
