Police Raid Bangkok Crypto Scam Den, Arrest 15 Foreign Nationals
A coordinated police raid on a Bangkok warehouse has uncovered an international cryptocurrency scam operation, resulting in the arrest of fifteen foreign nationals. The operation, conducted Friday evening in the Bueng Kum district, followed complaints from local residents about suspicious activities and noise from a building located off Soi Nuanchan, the Bangkok Post reported.

Upon entering the premises, officers discovered a large, windowless room where individuals were seated at computers. As police moved in, the suspects attempted to flee through a rear exit but were apprehended. The raid netted nine Azerbaijani, five Georgian, and one Ukrainian national. Authorities confiscated computers, mobile phones, internet routers, and scripted materials used to deceive potential victims into fraudulent digital currency investments.

All fifteen suspects have been taken to Khok Khram Police Station for processing as the investigation into the sophisticated international scam network continues.
