British Man Brutally Stabbed in Pattaya Parking Lot, Suspects Flee Scene

PATTAYA – A shocking knife attack left a 35-year-old British national fighting for his life in a Pattaya parking lot on Friday afternoon, May 16th. The violent assault occurred opposite the Pattaya Provincial Court on Thappraya Road, sending emergency responders scrambling to save the victim.

Pattaya City Police and Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation rescuers arrived to find the victim bleeding profusely with horrific injuries: a 10-cm facial gash, chest wound, abdominal stab wound, and three fingers nearly severed on his left hand. Emergency teams administered critical first aid before rushing him to Pattaya Memorial Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

An eyewitness waiting nearby described a chaotic scene to Thai media. A white Toyota Veloz with Phuket license plates came speeding into the parking lot before crashing into bushes. Three foreigners – two men and one woman – emerged from the vehicle. The male driver then dragged the bloodied victim from the back seat, continuing the attack with multiple slashing motions as the victim desperately fought back before collapsing.

“The victim was already bleeding heavily when they pulled him out, like the stabbing started inside the car,” the witness reported. After the brutal assault, the attackers fled toward South Pattaya Road, evading police attempts to intercept their vehicle.

Investigators believe the victim and assailant knew each other, as they were traveling together before the apparent argument turned violent. Police are examining CCTV footage and the witness’s clear photographs of the suspect vehicle while working to identify the attackers.

“This appears to be a targeted attack between acquaintances that escalated dangerously,” said a Pattaya Police spokesperson. “We’re pursuing all leads to bring these violent offenders to justice.”

Authorities urge anyone with information about the white Toyota Veloz (Phuket plates) or the foreign suspects to contact Pattaya Police immediately as the manhunt continues. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification.
