Jealous Rage Ends in Bloodshed: Russian Man Stabbed by Ex’s New Lover in Pattaya

A Russian man is fighting for his life after being brutally stabbed in the neck outside a Pattaya condominium, the victim of a jealous attack by his ex-girlfriend’s new foreign partner. The violent altercation erupted in plain view of horrified witnesses on Friday evening.

Young Danish Man Injured from Alleged Stabbing in Pattaya

At approximately 6:00 PM on April 26, Pattaya police rushed to the scene on Soi Khao Phra Tamnak 4 following reports of a stabbing. Officers arrived to find Romanov Mikhail, a Russian national, bleeding profusely from a deep neck wound. Emergency responders stabilized the victim before rushing him to Pattaya City Hospital, where he remains in serious condition.

According to witnesses, the attack stemmed from a toxic love triangle. Mikhail had maintained contact with his ex-girlfriend, a foreign national, despite their breakup. Her new boyfriend—also a foreigner—reportedly grew enraged upon discovering the pair sitting together outside the condominium. In a fit of jealousy, he allegedly pulled out a knife and plunged it into Mikhail’s neck without warning.

Despite his injuries, the Russian man attempted to fight back but collapsed due to severe blood loss. Shockingly, the assailant coolly disposed of the knife in a nearby trash bin before fleeing the scene. The entire incident was captured on CCTV, providing police with clear evidence.

Pattaya City Police, in coordination with Tourist Police, have launched an urgent manhunt for the suspect. Authorities are reviewing security footage and witness statements to identify and locate the attacker, who remains at large.

Pol. Col. Anek Sarathongyoo, Superintendent of Pattaya City Police, confirmed that the case is being treated as attempted murder, with charges expected once the suspect is apprehended.
