Thai government warns against illegal use of laughing gas
The government has issued a warning against the use and illegal sale of nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas, following reports of its increasing presence in entertainment venues. Authorities have urged the public, including tourists, to avoid inhaling the gas, which can cause oxygen deprivation, dizziness, respiratory failure, and nerve damage. Prolonged or excessive use may lead to severe neurological conditions and, in extreme cases, death.
