The incident occurred during a routine patrol by Thai border authorities who heard cries for help in Chinese. It appears that the man, identified as a Chinese national in his 30s, accidentally fell into the uncovered well.

Upon discovering his predicament, border patrol officers coordinated with local rescue teams. Using ropes and harnesses, the team successfully lifted the man from the well after nearly two hours of effort. Witnesses noted that he appeared physically exhausted and dehydrated but had no life-threatening injuries.

The rescued individual was immediately provided with first aid and later transported to a nearby medical facility for a thorough examination. Local authorities are currently investigating his circumstances, including his purpose for crossing the border and any potential involvement in human trafficking or smuggling operations.
