Chinese New Year celebrated across country

BANGKOK, 15th February 2018 (NNT) – Chinese-Thai people across the country have performed spiritual rites to mark the start of Chinese New Year.

In the South, Chinese Thai residents of Yala province put up offerings in front of their houses to show respect to their ancestors and deities before lighting fire crackers and burning paper offerings in dedication to their deceased family members.
