Citizens across nation mark Chinese New Year’s Eve

SONGKLA, 27 January 2017 (NNT) – Thais of Chinese descent across the country were seen joining with their families to perform ceremonies honoring their ancestors to mark the eve of Chinese New Year today.

Families were seen presenting pig heads, ducks and poultry along with fruits and incense to the City Shrine of Songkla city in Songkla province this morning, most bidding the spirits to protect their homes and bless their lives.
