People line up to buy late King’s commemorative banknotes

BANGKOK, 9 November 2016 (NNT) – A large number of people have lined up at many banks across the country to buy commemorative banknotes on the 60th birthday anniversary of the late King Bhumibol and the centennial anniversary of Thai banknotes.

At the head office of the Government Savings Bank, Pornsak Chinwasu from Chonburi province said he came to the bank’s head office at 1 AM for the banknotes. He said that he would keep the banknotes for his children and grandchildren to remind them of the great generosity of the late King.
