6.5-Magnitude Quake Registered in China Near Border With Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan

A 6.5-magnitude earthquake has hit northwestern China near the border with Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) reported Friday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The shocks were registered at 14:24 UTC in Southern Xinjiang 25 kilometers from the border with Tajikistan and 30 kilometers from the border with Kyrgyzstan at a depth of 10 kilometers.
