Phuket taxi driver hands in tourist couple’s lost pouch containing B300,000 cash

PHUKET: An airport limousine driver has been praised and rewarded after handing in a pouch containing over B300,000 in cash and a passport he discovered in his vehicle. The pouch was left behind by a tourist couple who used his service on Monday night, October 10.

Airport limousine driver, Mr Kris “Komor” Niyompong, 53 arrived at Karon Police Station at midnight (Oct 11) to hand in the pouch he found inside his vehicle to a tourist couple he picked up from Phuket International Airport earlier that evening at 9pm.
