Bhutan’s King commands today a public holiday to allow nationwide mourning for Thai King

His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck has ordered a nationwide mourning for Thailand’s King Bhumibol Adulyadej and declared today a national holiday to allow all people to join in

The message to the people on the King’s Facebook page reads “His Majesty The King received the news of the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand with immense sorrow.”
