Army prepares public services for mourners

BANGKOK, 19 October 2016 (NNT) – The Royal Thai Army has begun making preparations to facilitate the arrival of mourners who will be traveling to the Grand Palace, from this October 28 onwards to participate in the Royal Funeral Rites for His Majesty the late King Bhumipol Adulyadej.

The army has established a “Medical and Public Health Center” bringing together services from the Ministry of Public Health, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and the Army Medical Department. It has also erected a field hospital at Sanam Luang to serve citizens.
