Thailand ready to host World Tourism Day: Tourism Minister

BANGKOK, 19 September 2016 (NNT) – The Ministry of Tourism and Sports has announced that Thailand is now prepared to host the World Tourism Day event, showcasing the nation’s support for equal accessibility in tourism as well as the rich culture of Thailand northeastern region.

Tourism and Sports Minister Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul revealed in a press conference that World Tourism Day 2016 will be held under the theme ‘Tourism for All – Promoting Universal Accessibility’. She said Thailand is fully committed to universal access to tourism.
