BANGKOK, 30 September 2016 (NNT) – Police have arrested foreign tourists suspected of being members of credit card skimmer gangs.

Police from the Economic Crime Suppression Division tracked four Chinese tourists to a hotel in Bangkok’s Huai Khwang district, where they were caught making fake credit cards. The fake credit cards, two card skimmers and three computer notebooks were confiscated during the raid.

In a separate operation, police nabbed two Nigerian nationals at a hotel on Sukhumvit Road and seized more than 200 stolen foreign ATM cards, which the pair used to withdraw cash from local ATMs.
