Security heightens in southern border after vandalism acts

BANGKOK, 2 August 2016 (NNT) – The Ministry of Interior has ordered provincial governors of the Southern border provinces to intensify security protection in the area in response to the recent act of vandalism.

Ministry of Interior Permanent-Secretary Grisada Boonrach spoke on the reported acts of vandalism where vandals sprayed disturbing messages in public areas, including on fences of schools, temples, mosques, and government buildings, saying the incidents could leave the public with an impression that the government lacks measures to maintain orderliness.
