No charges yet against people held in connection with bomb attacks

The individuals invited for questioning by the military under suspicion of involvement in a spate of arson and bombing attacks in seven southern provinces during August 11-13 have not been charged until there are sufficient evidences to prove their involvement, NCPO spokesman Colonel Winthai Suvaree clarified on Sunday.

He did not give a figure of the individuals held for questioning by the military at the 11th army circle headquarter, but said that the military are empowered to hold them for questioning up to seven days without charges.
