Southern train services to Sungai Golok station in Narathiwat returned to full operation today after major repairs on the line between Yala and Narathiwat was badly damaged in a powerful bomb sabotage by southern militants on July 3.

But the first train No 448 from Sungai Golok to Surat Thani left with not much passengers although heavily guarded on board by soldiers, police and defense volunteers.
