Purple Line will operate free of charge from June 13 until July

BANGKOK, 6 June 2016 (NNT) – The Purple Line railway has reportedly received a warm welcome from commuters and will officially open for public service on August 6.

The Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) has allowed people to test ride the Purple Line service, which stretches from Bang Yai to Tao Poon. Many of the railway’s first commuters arrived as early as 5:30am to register for the free trial.
