BANGKOK, 13 June 2016 (NNT) – The Ministry of Public Health has revealed that more than 18,000 people have come down with dengue fever since the beginning of this year.

Permanent Secretary for Public Health Sopon Mekthon said more than 18,300 people were infected with the dengue virus from January 1 to June 7, of whom 16 have died.
