Defendants face court for first time over SCB fire-system deaths

The case against 10 defendants including two companies over the faulty fire-security system at Siam Commercial Bank headquarters in Bangkok that allegedly led to eight deaths has reached court.

The malfunction happened on the night of March 13 while work was being done to improve the system. Aerosol was released by accident.
