BANGKOK, 23 June 2016 (NNT) – The Minister of Interior has held a meeting with relevant agencies to discuss preparations on preventing and mitigating floods in Bangkok and its vicinity.

Interior Minister Gen. Anupong Paochinda presided over talks among several parties, including the Meteorological and Royal Irrigation Departments; military and police units; the metropolitan authorities for electricity and waterworks; and provincial administrations surrounding Bangkok.
