NCPO rejects Democrat party’s request to hold a meeting

The National Council for Peace and Order has turned down a request of the Democrat party to hold a meeting to discuss its internal problem and to deal with Bangkok Governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra’s alleged insubordination problem.

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha, also head of the NCPO, said Wednesday that it was the junta’s policy to ban all political gatherings and meetings without any exception.
