Busload of Migrants Sent to Merkel Returned to Bavaria
The head of the southeastern town of Landshut said his district can accept 1,800 refugees if Germany accepts one million. He wants to send the rest directly to German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The first bus carrying 31 refugees was sent to Berlin on Thursday.
Peter Dreier, head of the southeastern Bavarian town of Landshut, sent a bus packed with 31 refugees to Angela Merkel’s office in Berlin in a protest against the government’s migrant policy, German TV channel N24 reported.
