Number of Hate Crimes Against Muslims Triple in UK Since Paris Attacks

According to figures provided by the Metropolitan Police, the number of weekly hate crimes against Muslims in London more than tripled since the terrorist attacks in Paris.

In the two weeks following November 13, the number of registered Islamophobic incidents rose from 24 to 76, the Met reported. Media Director of the Muslim Association of Britain, Khalil Charles, told Radio Sputnik that this is a direct response from some Londoners to the Paris tragedy.
