Police arrested three people, including a former race driver, who allegedly were members of a car-theft ring wanted for defrauding 42 vehicle owners out of more than 80 million baht in property.

Bancha Thongkon, a former driver in the Thailand Rally Championship 2008, Chalermkiat Thanatornmontree and Tanatcha Sorasert were arrested in Chiang Rai.
