13 June 2015, BANGKOK (NNT) -The Department of Disease Control has issued a warning over Diphtheria. It comes after a two-year-old Burmese boy was reported to have died from the disease despite having been vaccinated during his infancy.

The Department anticipates that migration from neighboring countries, where the disease was found in the past two weeks, might be the cause.
