Palm oil factory blaze causes over Bt100 million in damage

SAMUT SAKHON, Dec 2 – Samut Sakhorn’s industrial office will declare the area surrounding a palm oil factory that burned earlier today as a danger zone, while the estimated damage in the blaze amounts to Bt100 million.

It took firefighters and emergency workers more than three hours to control the fire, which raged at the Kim Kee Charoen Company in Baan Koh subdistrict, Samut Sakhon’s provincial seat.
