Tourists flock to southern islands for Full Moon Party

SURAT THANI, Oct – Large numbers of Thai and foreign tourists were seen today boarding ferries to popular islands in the South to attend the annual Full Moon Party after regaining confidence regarding their personal safety following the arrest of two Myanmar nationals accused of murdering two British tourists last month.

Ferry boats offering services to Ko Samui and Ko Pha-ngan, Surat Thani’s main coastal island resorts, are packed with tourists wishing to attend the Full Moon Party.
