Floods affecting north, northeastern regions

LAMPANG, Sept 3 – Local residents and travelers alike are affected by floods in many northern and northeastern Thai provinces, and those living near flood and disaster-prone areas are advised to closely monitor the situation.

In Lampang province, forest runoff from the Khun Mae Sui-Mae Khom mountain flooded four villages in Ban Kha sub-district. More than 200 homes were under one meter of flood water.
