Four people responsible for condo collapse report to police

PATHUM THANI, 13 August 2014 (NNT) – Following the deadly collapse of a condominium building in Pathum Thani, some of the individuals held accountable by the police have reported themselves and have been charged with negligence.

According to the Provincial Police Region 1, arrest warrants have been issued against a total of seven people who are allegedly responsible for the recent collapse of an unfinished structure of U-Place Condominium in Pathum Thani’s Khlong Luang district. So far, four of the wanted individuals have surrendered themselves to the police. They have been charged with recklessness leading to deaths and injuries as well as violation of the Building Control Act 1979.
