NCPO chief: provincial reconciliation centers to be set up in two weeks

BANGKOK, June 2 – Thailand’s Army chief Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha in his capacity as director of the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) said that national reconciliation is making progress and the formation of a national reform council would be well explained to the general public to prevent disputes.

During a meeting of the council at the Army headquarters today, Gen Prayuth said that afterwards laws would have to be passed to realize reform initiatives but for the time being public relations activities were important.
