Two soldiers injured in shooting near anti-government rally site

BANGKOK, April 6 – Two plainclothes soldiers were wounded from a shooting near an anti-government protest site late last night in Dusit district as noises which sounded like large pyrotechnic blasts were heard near Nang Lerng intersection.

The wounded soldiers, identified as Sergeant Major First Class Chaiyan Lekpong and Lance Corporal Prasert Chansri, are now in safe condition after being taken to Ramathibodi Hospital.
