Police to probe M79 attack at public health chief’s home

BANGKOK, 21 April 2014 (NNT) – The Royal Thai Police is set to investigate a grenade attack at the house of permanent secretary for Public Health Dr.Narong Sahametapat in Bangkok on Sunday night.

An M79 grenade was fired at the doctor’s house in Chaeng Wattana Soi 14 shortly after midnight. The fences and cars were damaged in the explosion but there have been no reports of deaths or injuries.
