Sedition charges filed against Chiang Mai red shirt leader

The army on Monday filed sedition charges against a hardcore red shirt leader of Chiang Mai province for allegedly advocated partition.

On behalf of the army, Col Phoka Jorkloy, intelligence chief of army circle 53, Chiang Mai and Staff Judge Advocate Lt Col Sundote Dongparee, filed the complaint against Petchawat Wattanapongsirikul, of the “Rak Chiang Mai 51” group with Chiang Mai’s Mae Ping police station.
