Protesters plan to seal off Government House for one week

BANGKOK, Feb 17 – The anti-government People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) announced that they will cordon off Government House for seven days to prevent caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra from entering her office throughout the entire week.

The move followed the announcement of the Centre for Maintaining Peace and Order (CMPO) of its intention to retake the area around Government House and four other areas occupied by the protesters this week.
