More than 5,900 people killed in Southern Thailand over the past decade

Some 15,192 violent incidents have been reported in the 10 years since the resurgence of conflict in Southern Thailand with 5,926 people losing their lives and leaving another 10,593 injured, the forward command of the Internal Security Operations Command announced Thursday.

The forward command of the ISOC Region 4 recorded the 15,192 incidents between January 4, 2004 and December 31 2013.
