DSI summons 55 PDRC protest leaders to hear charges

BANGKOK, 13 January 2014 (NNT) – The Department of Special Investigation is summoning 55 core leaders of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) to hear their charges.

The DSI last month sought arrest warrants from the Criminal Court against the movement’s leading members. The court, however, rejected the DSI’s requests and ordered the agency to summon those accused to acknowledge their charges before proceeding with the issuing of the arrest warrants.
