Constitutional Court allows the postponement of the February 2 general election

BANGKOK, 24 January 2014 (NNT) – The Constitution Court on Friday voted 8 to 0 to allow the postponement of the 2 February general election. The judges also ruled that the prime minister and the chairman of the Election Commission (EC) are responsible for the rescheduling the election.
