BANGKOK, 2 July 2013 (NNT) – Thailand has been honored to play host to the 50th Conference of Directors General of Civil Aviation, Asia and Pacific Regions, with 38 countries and 10 aviation organizations around the world participating in the event.
After presiding over the opening ceremony, Thailand’s Civil Aviation Department Director General Woradet Hanprasert said the conference was aimed at uplifting the aviation systems of member countries.
The conference focused on the issues of innovation, increased safety, enhanced security, and sustainability of Asia and Pacific aviation.
