BANGKOK, April 25 – The Thai authorities arrested drug smugglers and seized more than one million methamphetamine during the past three days as drug smuggling along the borders with neighbouring countries is on the rise, Deputy Premier Chalerm Yubamrung said on Thursday.

Mr Chalerm said police searched a suspicious vehicle in Chiang Rai’s Mae Fah Luang district on Monday and found 120,000 meth pills.
