YALA, March 11 – One army ranger was killed and two others were wounded in a bombing in Raman district in this violence-plagued province.

The patrol was in a pick-up truck when a bomb exploded inside or attached to their vehicle. It was initially believed to be hidden under the driver’s seat as pieces of the explosive device were found there.
