Two Burmese arrested in Chiang Rai with 10000 meth pills

CHIANG RAI, Feb 2 – Mae Sai district police in the northern province of Chiang Rai and the special unit of the Pha Mueang Task Force’s 3rd Cavalry Regiment arrested two Myanmar nationals in possession of 10,000 methamphetamine pills in a joint operation.

Authorities arrested the two men at a checkpoint in Mae Sai district and found the illicit drug hidden inside their sandals that specially made to contain 2,500 pills in the sole of each shoe.
