A 19-year-old Cambodian crew member on a Samaesarn fishing boat was ambushed by two Cambodians while riding his bicycle.

They slashed his neck with a long Spartan knife and killed him in front of 100 onlookers. Police assumed the murder was due to a previous dispute.
