15 provinces of Thailand affected by flooding: EMIT sends in medical teams

Dr. Chatree Charoencheevakul, secretary general of the Emergency Medical Institute of Thailand, said on Wednesday that the provinces now affected by flooding are Sukothai, Angthong, Pichit, Ayutthaya, Uthai Thani, Chai Nat, Uttaradit, Chiang Rai, Nakhon Sawan, Lampang, Lamphun, Suphan Buri, Sa Kaew, Phetchabun and Saraburi.

The first five provinces have been hardest hit.
