North, Northeast to experience more rain

BANGKOK, 23 July 2012 (NNT) – The Meteorological Department has announced that the Tropical Storm Vicente is expected to sweep through the north of Vietnam, which will result in more rain in the North and Northeast of Thailand.

According to the Meteorological Department, Tropical Storm Vicente is slowly moving westward from the East of the Hainan Island. It is expected to hit North of Vietnam on Wednesday. As a result, the North and Northeast of Thailand will experience more rain from Monday to Wednesday.

Fishermen are warned to be cautious when leaving shores as the winds are strong in both the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea.
