Thailand-Cambodia’s transportation opens up for public

BANGKOK, 14 June 2012 (NNT) – Thailand and Cambodia have joined hands to share and provide transportation to the general public of both countries and to support businesses between the two sides.

Mr. Charupong Ruangsuwan, Minister of Transport, along with H.E. Tram Iv Tek, Minister for Public Works and Transport of Cambodia have officially opened up public transportation services between Thailand and Cambodia at Aranyaprathet border, starting on June, 14 2012 to firmly establish relationship between the two countries. Thailand will focus on providing 30 cargo trucks due to high demand of Thai products in Cambodia, while Cambodia will be providing 30 public buses and 10 cargo trucks. This Thai-Cambodian cooperation will also result in revenue building for both countries.
